1. Who we are
The controller of the personal data processed through the dez.md website (the “Platform”) is “AUTO DEALER GROUP” S.R.L., tax code (IDNO) 1016600001452 (“we” or the “Administration”).
This policy explains what data we collect, why, how we protect it and what rights you have. By using the Platform, you confirm that you have read this policy.
2. What data we collect
- Account data: first and last name, email address, password (stored only in encrypted form), phone number, account type, company name, locality, profile photo.
- Social login data: if you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address and, where available, profile photo from them.
- Published content: listings, part requests, photos, descriptions, prices and the contact details shown in a listing.
- Messages to us: the name, email and content of messages sent via the contact form or by email.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, language, pages visited, date and time of access, cookie data.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
- creating and managing your account, publishing listings and requests — to provide the Platform's services at your request;
- putting buyers and sellers in contact — to provide the Platform's services;
- moderating content, preventing fraud and spam, and keeping the Platform secure — based on our legitimate interest;
- answering requests sent via the contact form or by email;
- service communications (email confirmation, password reset, account and listing notifications);
- improving the Platform using aggregated statistics — based on our legitimate interest;
- complying with legal obligations and requests from competent authorities.
4. Publicly visible data
The information you include in a listing or part request (including your name, phone number and locality) is visible to all visitors of the Platform. Please publish only the data you want to make public.
5. Cookies
We use cookies necessary for the Platform to work (login session, form protection, chosen language). See the Cookie policy for details. If we use analytics or advertising cookies in the future, we will enable them only as the law allows and will update this policy.
6. Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent your personal data. We may share data only with:
- providers that help us run the Platform, under confidentiality obligations: hosting, content delivery network, protection against attacks and bots, and photo storage (Cloudflare), and email delivery;
- Google or Facebook, when you choose to sign in through these services;
- public authorities, when the law requires it.
Advertisers whose banners may appear on the Platform do not receive your personal data from us.
Some of these providers may process data outside the Republic of Moldova. In such cases, the transfer is made with the safeguards required by law.
7. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. After an account is deleted, the data is deleted or anonymised within a reasonable time, except data we must keep by law or to defend legal rights. Technical data (access logs) is kept for a limited period necessary for security.
8. How we protect data
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted connection (HTTPS), passwords stored in encrypted form, access to data restricted to authorised persons, and protection against abusive automated access.
9. Your rights
Under the personal data protection legislation of the Republic of Moldova, you have the right:
- to be informed and to access your data;
- to have inaccurate data rectified;
- to have your data erased or its processing restricted;
- to object to processing;
- to withdraw consent, where processing is based on consent;
- to lodge a complaint with the National Center for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Moldova or to go to court.
You can change most of your data directly in your account. To exercise your other rights, write to us at [email protected]. We will reply within the time limit set by law.
10. Minors
The Platform is not intended for persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. The version in force is always published on this page.
